Apple iPad 32GB with Wi-Fi - Black (3rd generation) (MC706B/A) - Pick up the new iPad and suddenly, it’s clear. You’re actually touching your photos, reading a book, playing the piano. Nothing comes between you and what you love. To make that hands-on experience even better, we made the fundamental elements of iPad better — the display, the camera, the wireless connection. All of which makes the new HP 625 battery third-generation iPad capable of so much more than you ever imagined.

Retina Display:

Four times more pixels than iPad 2. Razor-sharp text. Richer colours. The Retina display transforms the entire iPad experience. So everything looks and feels incredibly lifelike and perfectly detailed.

The best display ever on a mobile device:

Everything you do with iPad, you do through its large, beautiful display. And when the display is better, the entire iPad experience is better. The HP 625 AC adapter Retina display on the new iPad features a 2048x1536 resolution, 44 per cent greater colour saturation and an astounding 3.1 million pixels — in the same 9.7-inch space. That’s four times the number of pixels in iPad 2 and a million more than an HDTV. Those pixels are so close together, your eyes can’t discern individual ones at a normal viewing distance. When you can’t see the pixels, you see the whole picture. Or article. Or game. In ways you never could before.

Breakthrough technology. For a breakthrough display:

In order to create a display with four times the pixels, we had to design it in a completely new way. You see, every pixel in a display has multiple signals telling it when to light up. But when you have a lot of pixels and a lot of signals on the same plane, signals get crossed and image quality suffers. To make sure everything on the new Dell Inspiron 1464D battery looks crystal clear, Apple engineers elevated the pixels onto a different plane — separating them from the signals. It’s technology that’s breakthrough. Just like the new iPad itself.

More power on display:

The Retina display on the new iPad wouldn’t be possible without the new and powerful A5X chip. It drives power to every one of the 3.1 million pixels in the display. And its quad-core graphics processing makes everything you do on iPad feel incredibly responsive. From the little things like swiping, scrolling and pinching to the big things like editing photos in the new iPhoto, applying filters and transitions in iMovie and, of course, playing games.

Instant on. Touch and go:

You use your iPad all the time. A few minutes here, an hour or so there. And each time you press the Home button or open the Smart Cover, it’s ready to go. Instantly. That’s the work of flash storage. It’s fast and reliable, so you can get to your apps and do whatever you need to do, pronto.

Battery life spared:

The new iPad features a Retina display with four times the pixels of iPad 2 and quad-core graphics. How much of an effect does that have on HP 625 battery life? Almost none. You still get up to 10 hours of power to read, watch, play, write and create whatever you want, all you want.1

The new iPad features Apple’s 5-megapixel iSight camera. Designed with advanced optics, it lets you shoot gorgeous photos and 1080p HD video.

Shoot 5-megapixel still images:

The 5-megapixel iSight camera features a backside illumination sensor that captures great-looking pictures whether by sunlight or candlelight. Autofocus, tap to focus and tap to set exposure functions mean every photo you take instantly becomes a frame-worthy gem. And with built-in face detection that automatically balances focus and exposure across up to 10 faces, there’s more room for more grins. So everyone look at iPad and say “Cheese”.

Record HD video in full 1080p:

Sometimes life takes you by surprise. You’re reading a best-seller on your Dell Studio 1747 battery waiting for the morning train when you spy a gifted performer on the platform. Or you’re browsing the web on the sofa when your dog trots by wearing your daughter’s tutu. The iSight camera on the new iPad lets you capture all these unpredictable, beautiful and hilarious moments. In 1080p HD, no less. And with automatic video stabilisation, your recording is free of bumps and shakes. Which is a big advantage when you’re laughing uncontrollably.

It’s all in the lenses:

Megapixels matter. But the quality of a photo is determined by other things too — like the camera’s optics, image signal processor and software. The iSight camera uses advanced optics to give you the best picture possible. With an ƒ/2.4 aperture and a five-element lens, it HP 625 adapter light efficiently to produce a sharper overall image. And the hybrid infrared filter — typically reserved for expensive SLR cameras — keeps out harmful IR light for more accurate, uniform colours.

Lenovo's ThinkPad Edge E520 is traditionally aimed at business users, but has recently taken a more consumer-friendly turn, with less imposing builds and price tags. The ThinkPad Edge E520 is one of the more powerful laptops in the range and can keep you entertained on the move as well as at home.
lenovo-thinkpad-edge-e520s.jpg
The test model is strapped to its teeth with the latest communication modules. The laptop offers 1 GB/s wire transfer rate, a WLAN 802.11b/g/n (Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN) as well as Bluetooth 3.0 +HS (all of which are included from the factory). Our test model offered no 3G-UMTS module. That is available for a premium and the slot for that module is already placed in the device. However, the necessary antennas for installing the module are not already in place, which prevents users from adding the card after purchasing the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E520 battery.

We wouldn’t suggest using the integrated speakers to listen to music or watch videos – they produce weak audio and struggled to fill a small room with sound. High notes were too tinny and there was a definite lack of bass, although the mid-range was at least acceptable. A good pair of headphones would be a wise investment if you value sound quality.

When it comes to getting work done, the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E520 AC adapter coped well in an office setting thanks to its quality Chiclet-style keyboard. The full-size keys are fairly close together, but still have enough room that your fingers don’t feel cramped when typing. There’s even a numerical keypad, and every key has plenty of feedback so you’re always certain that your key presses have been registered. Some concessions have been made to fit a full-size keyboard tray into the chassis, most notably the half-height function and arrow keys, but at least the punctuation keys are in the places we would expect to find them.

One of the most important features of the new “Sandy Bridge” processors is the improvement of integrated graphics GPU’s which are now capable of handling almost any business graphics application that you can throw at them, plus dare we say it, reasonable gaming performance!. Of course we are not talking 3D Modelling or CAD here, nor are we talking fast frame rates on Crysis or Bioshock. And of course, don’t forget the ability to play High Def video, so that you can watch some of your favourite movies.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad Edge E520 is designed with business in mind, and the E520 model is representative of that aim. The HD widescreen display is 15.6″, offering anti-glare LED backlighting, at a total weight of around 5.2lbs. It runs an Intel i-series dual processor at 2.30GHz, with 4GB memory, 320GB hard drive, and the Intel HD Graphics suite. Like all models of the Edge series, it comes equipped with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.o for Windows 7, loaded with the Windows 7 Home Premium package.

We really do like the second incarnation of the ThinkPad Edge Series, and the ThinkPad Edge E520 in particular is a favorite. Fitted out with the mid range Core i5, 4GB to 8Gb of ram and a decent sized 7200 rpm HD, it’s still going to be priced well below the classic ThinkPad range. With its superb screen, excellent keyboard good looks and above average performance, the ThinkPad Edge E520  is a real class leader.

The E520's relatively low weight and long Dell Inspiron I1564 battery life make it ideal for travellers, but its dull screen and lack of 3D power means that the E520's all work and no play.

The laptop comes with the Professional version of Windows 7, which has domain support so is well suited to office use, but copies of Corel WinDVD and MovieFactory will let you play and edit films. There are plenty of connection options, with four USB ports, one of which also doubles as an eSATA port, HDMI and VGA video outputs and a multi-format card reader, which should be more than enough for connecting all your peripherals. It's a shame there's no USB3, but an ExpressCard/34 slot will allow for future upgrades or expandability.

Big package and very little inside! The delivery package includes the laptop, the power cable, the 6-cell Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E520 battery and a few information booklets. On the other hand, the list of optional accessories is never-ending: like the premium upgrade list of a car, which includes a variety of products from various different categories. The pre-installed software is another problem. The ThinkPad has Office, Adobe Reader and the typical ThinkPad software installed from the factory, but otherwise it offers very little in the software department. The test version of Norton Internet Security is a negative mark in our book, as right from the first system start, it annoys users with various pop-ups. Standard ThinkPads never had such a problem with software.

You can also check out and play around with your photos or home movies. Of course, if you'd rather relax with a film, the Lenovo won't let you down. High-definition (HD) films play perfectly and look good on the 15.6-inch widescreen display. However, while many other laptops use Super-TFT screens, which use a glossy surface layer to produce richer colours, the Lenovo has a matt TFT display. Images aren't quite as vibrant as a result but, on the flipside, the screen isn't reflective, so you can use the laptop outside.

Lenovo picks a a popular design for its keyboard. The keyboard of the E520 is similar to that of the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420s with the exception that the keyboard in our test model has a separate numeric pad. The keys (letters) have the same size: 16x16 mm. The layout, the optic (including the shiny base of the keyboard) and the subjective typing feel of the keyboard gave us a good impression. However, the Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E520 adapter slightly concave key shape and the pronounced keys are a matter of taste.

The storage device in our test model is a unit of Hitachi 2.5-inch hard drive (500 GB). The Travelstar 5K500 (also known as HTS545050B9A300) belongs to the consumer products manufacturer and do not fall faster than its maximum reading speed is 75 Mb / s. The device performance is further reduced by the SATA II, SATA III, despite the support and the operating speed of 5400 rpm. The hard drive can be easily exchanged with a faster SSD. Possible candidates would be number 510 or Intel SSD OCZ Agility 3, to be exact, three vertices.

Compared to its peers, the 1015 hosts the largest screen (15.6”), but lacks the 1088’s ATI graphics card. Universal across all three is an improved Dell XPS L511X battery life, enhanced energy consumption with an Energy Star 5.0 certification, and a bevy of color options: black, blue, or deep cherry red. Additional features include a card reader for media flexibility; a cam/mic combo set for online communications; and Gigabit LAN + 802.11b/g WiFi. Note also the FireWire port.

The keyboard is the part of the 1015 that I least agree with so far. It flexes in the middle a bit, mushy in feel, but the tops of the keys are spaced ok with a gap in between them. The Pg Up and Pg Down keys are awkwardly placed; they are in a column with Home above and End below them. I would have preferred them to be positioned left and right of the up arrow key instead. Keys are a bit unresponsive and some key presses of mine are not recorded as I type if I type with a light touch. No back lighting of the keys.

Powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the Dell Vostro 1015 notebook offers amazing performance and functionality. This Dell laptop lets you connect a number of wireless devices using Bluetooth connectivity. Incorporating a 2 MP camera, the Dell XPS L511X AC adapter lets you perform video chats/conferences, take pictures and lots more. In HP’s present lineup of business laptops, HP Eiltebook 8740w notebook pc is one of the solid workstations. The high end features of the machine aim to give users a power packed performance and has been designed to meet almost all the professional requirements. The laptop depends on strong processors, robust graphics and accurate color displays to give high end performance. Check out our exclusive HP Elitebook 8740w review to know more about the machine.

The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W HP EliteBook 8740w battery, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.

Specifications:

  • Intel Core i7-820QM Quad-core Processor (1.73GHz, 8MB cache, 3.06GHz Turbo Frequency)
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Skilled (sixty four-bit)
  • 17.0-inch WUXGA+ anti-glare DreamColor display (1920 x 1200)
  • 1GB (GDDR5) ATI FirePro M7820 Workstation GPU
  • 8GB DDR3 RAM
  • 320GB 7200RPM HDD
  • DVD+/-RW Optical Drive
  • 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Modem, and Bluetooth Connectivity
  • eight-Cell 73WHr Battery
  • three-Year on-website Guarantee
  • Dimensions: 1.3″ x 15.5″ x 11.1″
  • Weight: 7.9lbs

The new HP EliteBook 8740w lets you enjoy new performance levels with the new Intel Core i7-640M 2.80GHz processor and 4GB of fast DDR3 Memory. Connect to external displays and get sharper, deeper images with the DisplayPort. Boost your graphics ability with the HP EliteBook 8740w AC adapter. Experience sharp pictures, smooth video, and fast rendering capabilities required for graphics-intensive software applications with NVIDIA’s Quadro FX 2800M. HP SkyRoom provides professional quality visual collaboration with up to four person-to-person audio-visual sessions, from the comfort of your own workspace.

HP says that this mobile workstation “has been tested and meets the military standard MIL-STD 810F tests” and we’ve seen HP demonstrations where this EliteBook was exposed to excessive heat, vibration and water and kept running. Additionally, the 8740w also features hard drive shock protection in the form of HP 3D DriveGuard which helps protect your hard drive in the event the laptop gets dropped or violently bumped. You can also configure the 8730w with a solid state drive (SSD) if you need extreme speed and resistance to vibration.

The real power of the HP EliteBook 8740w is on the inside, but its nice appearance doesn’t hurt. This remarkable computer can do a lot more than most computer users realize. It’s almost like witnessing a new teenage driver steering a high profile race car to his high school football game. More seasoned computer users will appreciate how the Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB 1333 MHzDDR3 SDRAM, and NVIDIA Quadro 5000m empower the HP AV08 battery. Some of the other incredible features are the 17″ LED-backlit WXGA anti-glare HP DreamColor display, the good-sized 500GB hard drive, and the full-sized, spill-resistant computer keyboard. Even more features are the 2 MP built-in webcam, mic, headphones, 4 USB ports, 1 eSATA port, external VGA monitor, and Smart Card Reader. With all of these top-of-the-line features, it’s not surprising that it’s called the EliteBook Mobile Workstation.

There are a couple of negatives with this HP EliteBook laptop, but it still surpasses its competition. You will get all the portability and power that you are looking for when you buy the HP EliteBook 8740w.

HP EliteBook 8740w (SK111UP): Intel Core i7-620M Processor (2.66 GHz, 4 MB L3 cache), Mobile Intel QM57 Express, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, 320 GB 7200 rpm SATA II , DVD+/-RW SuperMulti DL LightScribe, 43.2 cm (17.0") diagonal LED-backlit WSXGA+ wide-viewing angle Anti-Glare (1680 x 1050), NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M graphics with 1 GB dedicated GDDR3 video memory, Geneuine Windows 7 Professional 64.

The keyboard is also a testament to the "business-ruggedness" of this laptop: It has a drain that funnels out the bottom of the laptop, so spilling coffee onto your computer is no longer as much of a problem. The only minor annoyance I have with this keyboard is the backlight (which you can turn off but not dim in increments). If you are sitting a comfortable distance from the Dell WU946 battery and it's on a table or desk, you are at just the correct angle for the backlight to shine out from underneath the keys and into your eyes. In this regard, a Chiclet-style look would have been much better.

HP EliteBook 8740w is designed for very specific requirements for performance, durability, energy and many other functions to be performed. In any case EliteBook line that meets these standards, so before you try to live when you know that the laptop almost eight pounds, which is built as tough.

Rough design more than skin deep, as EliteBook 8740w has been built to meet military standards of toughness. Whether it be dust, temperature, humidity, vibration, or height, HP EliteBook 8740w adapter is built to survive and continue to do. Internally, 320GB 7200 rpm hard drive is padded with shock-damping material and wrapped in a magnesium enclosure drive with a hardened steel pin holding everything together. A three-axis accelerometer to detect motion and activate the hard drive is an additional protection against drops and shocks.

HP have made the HP EliteBook 8740w official now by making an announcement. The new laptop built by HP is quite a beast of a laptop in terms of processing power. The 8740w has a good number of ports on all sides, so let us take a brief tour…Left side: security security lock, heat exhaust, power socket, DisplayPort, VGA port, USB 2.0, FireWire, an ExpressCard/54 slot, and a smart card slot.

The sound quality of this laptop is average compared to other notebooks. Although these internal speakers are adequate for easy listening, you should not count on them for a fun movie night with friends. Gaming could still be fairly enjoyed, but the user should always account for external speakers or headphones for a better sound experience.

Having said all about looks, design and features, let us delve into the performance of the HP EliteBook 8740w. The multi touch feature of the device seems great and the register two finger scrolling and zoom. The 1 billion colour range makes the HP EliteBook 8740w look good even when it is placed side by side with the HP Envy 17 3D. The Dream Colour Calibration application that comes bundled inside the product allows you to adjust the colour profiles. The viewing angle of the HP EliteBook 8740w is as great as 178 degrees and is one of the talking points of the same. The laptop comes with an 8 cell HP EliteBook 8740w battery as pointed above but inspite of this fails to impress as it may last less than an hour. If you were planning to do your regular work with the HP EliteBook 8740w then let me assure you that the device may fall asleep before you do. While other flaws can easily be avoided, this shortcoming is such which will haunt you right from the time you start working on the HP EliteBook 8740w.

Ports are an important factor for any high end business notebook. Elitebook 8740w laptop features a couple of USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports. You also get 1 eSATA, 1 Display, 1 external VGA monitor, 1stereo microphone, 1AC power, 1 RJ-11, 1 RJ-45, 1 docking connector and a secondary HP AV08 battery connector. You also get a express card/54, 1 smart card reader and 1 secure digital slots.

The latest dell Precision 17" laptop is supposed to have an IPS panel option in the near future. However, it is also going to be 16:9. On the other hand if processing power is your main requirement, the Sandybridge stuff is supposed to be definitely faster, possibly with noticeably better Dell WU946 battery life.

The EliteBook 8740w starts at a somewhat hefty $1999. Our review model, about $3000 (as of October 1, 2010), had a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 520M processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive (running at 7200 rpm), and Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). It also featured a 2-megapixel built-in Webcam, an nVidia Quadro FX 3800M graphics card with 1GB of dedicated video memory, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and a DVD±RW drive.

As with every computer, the 8740w may have a few negative aspects but that doesn’t take away from its outstanding features. If you need mobility and power, the HP EliteBook 8740w has both. This workstation has all the power and flexibility that you need.

The Dell Vostro V13 is very stylish and robust. But unlike the Dell XPS or Latitude Adamo Z600 this machine offers more style than substance.

The 13.3 inch LED-backlit screen is also standard on every model. Klutzes will appreciate a Free Fall Sensor built into the motherboard, while road warriors can opt for a Mobile Broadband Module. you’ll find one USB 2.0 port, one USB 2.0 / eSata combo port, and a VGA display port. Ponying up for the $649 model will also net you Windows 7, a larger, faster hard drive, a webcam, and a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo ULV SU7300 processor.
dell-vostro-v13.jpeg
Although the V13 has come under fire in other reviews for feeling too cheap and ‘clicky’ we found it to be a wonderfully designed machine which should hold a lot of appeal within the consumer market. The external make up of the Dell Vostro V13 AC adapter is finished in a silver brushed steal which wraps around the device’s body. It almost looks like a metal bound book waiting to be opened, a characteristic which we were particularly fond of.

Anyway, how much Dell Vostro V13 battery life can be expect? Well, according to similarly equipped laptops of this category we can assume an energy demand of about 10 Watt during typical office load. This would give a battery life of about three hours. Depending of the actual work load the battery life can be longer or shorter. Nevertheless, it's quite unlikely that the V13 is comparable with endurance specialists of the netbook category or some slim series (Acer Timeline, Asus UL-series) in any way - at least if Dell sticked to the Dell T1G6P battery solution of the pre-sample. If in doubt: Our comprehensive review will clarify it.

The V13 looks great, weighs a mere 1.6kg and more importantly it has a solid built quality. The screen feels rather solid and the aluminium casing of the V13 gives it a great premium feeling and the all-in-one case design looks, feel and is a great and comfortable look.

Turning off all power-saving features, setting the profile to High Performance and screen brightness and volume to maximum, we played back an XviD file. The Dell 0449TX battery lasted two hours, 44 minutes and 36 seconds. This is quite a bit shorter than the 4.75 hours Dell quotes, but keep in mind this is an absolute worse-case scenario — significantly better battery life will be found on more frugal power plans and performing less intensive tasks.

Because the laptop has no optical drive, I checked the battery by running the video on the memory card. I went wireless and connected throughout the test and choose a diet plan that Dell is designed to balance performance with power consumption. Video playback lasted 2 hours and 49 minutes reasonable under the circumstances.

All but the most expensive iteration comes with just 2GB of RAM (as opposed to 4GB). Usually it is easy for support staff to upgrade RAM but in this case the aluminium chassis which helps make this laptop look so stunning is a single sheet— there is no hatch which support staff can remove to add RAM.

The 13.3in screen is left un-glossed, which means no distracting reflections while you work. It's bright and sharp, and the 1366 x 768 resolution is fine for the kind of jobs the V13 will be doing. Vertical viewing angles appeared a little tighter than normal, but colour reproduction was top-notch and our gradient tests revealed no stepping between shades.

The Vostro V13 comes with a 6-cell Li-ion Dell Vostro V13 battery. We have already noted that the battery sits underneath the aluminium baseplate and is difficult to access. If you like to carry a spare notebook battery, this isn't the system to choose.

A disappointing design characteristic of this laptop is the battery which is in-built, just like an iPhone.  This means you cannot purchase and bring an extra battery for long flights or conferences and such.  While the built-in battery lasted just over a respectable three hours for simultaneous office and wireless internet use, it is an unfortunate limitation on this otherwise very portable laptop.

One of the USB 2.0 ports doubles as an eSATA port, which is very convenient for quickly backing up data to an external hard drive. We love the keyboard on the Dell Vostro V13: it has keys that are 18mm wide and have just the right amount of resistance. The keyboard bounces only slightly when you hit it, so it's not as solid as it could be; that's understandable given the relatively low price point of the laptop. The only thing the keyboard could use to make it better is backlighting. The touchpad is big (81x44mm) and it has soft buttons that don't make a sound when you press them.

In terms of performance, the Vostro V13 is average. Its WorldBench 6, PC Mark 05 and 3D Mark 06 scores were roughly double than most netbooks, and very similar to the Acer Aspire Timeline 3810T. This is obviously not meant for gaming, but you can watch stutter-free 720p HD videos on the Vostro V13 without any trouble -- 1080p full-HD videos stuttered a few times. I had no trouble multitasking while surfing the Web, listening to music, and transferring a few gigabytes of files in the background. The screen is good for watching movies, and the speakers (situated under the keyboard) are okay for listening to music, nothing great -- plug in headphones and you're fine. The Vostro V13's six-cell battery life lasted a bit under the 2-hour mark in our benchmarks, which is good. Expect close to 4 hours while browsing the Web on a conservative Dell 0449TX battery plan.

In our iTunes MP3 encoding and Blender 3D rendering tests, which primarily test CPU speed, the Dell Vostro V13 was approximately three times as fast as netbook. The hard drive's performance was also impressive, recording a speed of 35 megabytes per second in our transfer tests. However, it is a big drive and it will inevitably slow down somewhat once you start to really fill it with files.

Apparently Dell has stationed the one loudspeaker on this notebook below the keyboard, on the left-hand side. At least that is where the sound seemed to be coming from. When watching films, this has the effect that the sound seems to emanate from the screen. But this doesn't mean that you can expect surround sound; quite the opposite. Unfortunately the sound produced is too heavy on the higher frequencies, and doesn't provide much volume overall because it is light on the middle frequencies and the bass notes are especially lacking. The low maximum volume could mean you have to use external loudspeakers for business presentations, but it will be perfectly sufficient for other ordinary office tasks requiring sound.

While this processor doesn't exactly blaze along, it's certainly faster than the Core 2 Solo SU3500. While this CPU runs ever so slightly faster at 1.4GHz, the absence of an entire processing core means that you'll have to pick and choose your applications quite carefully.

While the V13 has a paltry EPEAT Bronze rating of 7 (21 out of 27 is more typical these days), the notebook was very efficient when it came to recharging its battery. Taking just 2 hours and 24 minutes, the notebook drew an average of 23.3 watts during that time, for a LAPTOP Battery Efficiency Rating of 13—well below the ultraportable average of 19.7.

Battery life is where the Vostro V13 comes to a screeching halt. On our video rundown test the V13's six-cell, 30Wh battery lasted only 2 hours and 39 minutes with brightness set to 65 percent. That's more than half the runtime of the Dell Vostro V13 adapter. Even worse is that because of its solid aluminum build the battery cannot be swapped out. There's really no good news when it comes to battery life here -- the reality is that you'll spend more of your time looking for an outlet with this ULV than others out there. Because it's a small business laptop, Dell bundles the V13 with its own BackUp and Recovery software, but other than that the desktop arrived quite clean.

There’s actually just a couple of minor issues with this laptop. One is that, since the Dell T1G6P battery is not removable, you can’t carry a spare to help in those times when you need to keep working on a project but can’t recharge. The system also has plenty of RAM and benefits from the Core 2 Duo processor, but the actual clock speed of 1.3GHz is a bit slow for major compiling projects, though more than capable. Ultimately, though, this durable and stylish notebook is a smart all-around top performer that’s ideal for just about any home or office-orientated task.
